imho, put as much ram into phone using android is useless. will still have memory leak and hang. they have to fix that up first. ram is not its actual issue.

Bro,

phones in Indonesia are more expensive here and the price of Zenfone 2 in Indonesia:

: 4GB RAM + 32GB internal - around RM1150

4GB + 64GB internal - around 1300

both price are converted from IDR..

Hong Kong and TW also around same price rage for 4GB RAM model.

here u go...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?....greenify&hl=en

u need to root ur device (will break the warranty) before unleash the full performance of the app.

the app will fully stop unless u restart again.

Not my comment on Symbian.

Perhaps all systems have own features.

Like iOS and WP will close the apps when not using instead of Android...

Anyway, 4GB RAM smartphone is coming soon...

More RAM is always better than less RAM. Just like HP. Most car 150 HP is more than enough. Most of time, even cars with 300 or more HP, probably just use only 100 HP.

But some users more demands, wanna run many APS and windows occurrently.

My android phone with only 1 GB RAM, very laggy and slow.

Previous using 2 GB ram, much smoother. No lag. Of course, processor speed counts.

Anyone got comment about the display?

I been to directd PJ last Sunday to play around with their demo unit & found that the display is a deal breaker for me.....
Even my old OneX screen feels better than ZF2 except that it's lower resolution.

Bro, definitely agree with u.

We need large amount of RAM memory because apps are getting larger in size and need larger RAM amount for temporary memory.

I've one 3GB RAM phone (non root), it left 0.7GB for usage after installed all those msg apps.

2GB RAM phone (non root) and its lag, hard to open wechat with a lot of photos.

1GB RAM (rooted, running CM10), installed several apps like GSC and CIMB clicks, but msg with whatsapp continuously also lag.

512MB RAM (rooted) - Xperia RAy - only able to run one msg app and its super lag even with 1 msg app.

IMHO, ram is as important as processor

P/S: when wechat/whatsapp/viber were introduced, their sizes were less than 10MB. NOW? as much as 50MB.

Already tried.... still not up to my expectation...
the screen color is too warm to my liking.... (my Nexus 7 2013 also have the same issue.... Asus seems like doesn't really improve on the screen)
My near 2 years old Vivo Xplay screen still looks much better than ZF2 doh.gif

1080 video recording looks like an upscaled 480p and still photos still have oversharppening (it's too obvious) and dynamic range is very saddening. Overexposed a lot.

I guess Asus doesn't know how to hit the right algorithm for camera resulting in immature post-processing images. Whew, camera marketing gimmick is too strong for Asus since the previous Zenfone.

I gonna roll back to my Mi3.
