In reality they're just machine shops.The workers there are just trying to earn a living. In the video, the Chinese girl said that they were sent an item from America and they were making copies of it as per the order. In the comments section Busardo had to back down when everybody commented the conditions were the same in machine shops in US and UK.
As for Kanger, the Subtank Nano clone sold in FT has been found to be 100% identical to the authentic. The question is did Kanger dump it so that they can profit from both the authentic and clone markets. If I wanted a Sub Nano, I'd certainly buy the identical looking clone which costs 1/3 of the authentic. The outrage is when clones are sold at authentic prices.

Jim is not wrong. Remember the thriving pirated CD/DVD market especially the Hongkong/Chinese market? It's a well known secret that the producers have a cut in both the ori & pirate markets. So, I'm not surprise if that's the case here. If I remember correctly from the pbusardo's video on China, the Kangertech factory is just doing assembling, testing, packing while the bulk of the work like the CNC machining are done by outside factory where the condition of those factory may or may not be worse than those of the clone makers. It may also come from the same factory for all you know.
I know for a fact that many Chinese companies will go all out to impress visitors all the while successfully hiding their ugly background. But this is not to say Chinese made products are all bad. In China, the term "you get what you pay for" holds true. Pay them a fair price & you'll get grade 'A' quality. Bargain with them & you'll get the same item but an inferior grade 'B' quality.
