Microsoft will release the final build of IE7 today to customers, with the company expected to push the build by automatic updates on 1st November.

At the moment there is no link on Microsoft.com, but Yahoo has the final build bundled with Yahoo Mail. All you need to do is download the Yahoo edition and use WinRAR to extract the files and run IE7-Setup.exe

Windows Server 2003 32-bit Edition

It's basically the same as the previous release candidates but the improvements is more to bug fixes and performance issues.

Performance wise it is sluggish compared to firefox, maybe it is the settings that needs to be changed.

Not really user friendly, maybe im not used to it, but where the heck is the STOP button, i can't seem to find it, or ESC key is the trend now? smile.gif

the stop button is at the end of the address bar. hard to find, but easy to use once you get used to it.
Layout is good, and it's actually faster than Firefox for me. It would have been my default browser if not for Opera's mouse gesture. A good backup browser IMHO. I can now finally uninstall FF

i am not saying page loading, but it is more resource hog than firefox, selecting multi tabs and it will pause for like 1 sec or slightly less.

I used it and so far..its much much better than IE6.
IE7 now loads faster, loads with less errors, easy tab function and quick tab feature. The only thing i didnt like was the Cleartype(tm) which can be turned off. Well..of course its more resource hungry than IE6 because it now looks better and has more features but honestly i dont feel any slow downs with my system. Still loads as fast as before.

You have to be connected to the Internet and set the settings on the first page it loads when you finish installed IE7 first. When you're done, follow ahtiven's step and you're done. smile.gif

Strange thing. I don't seem to have any problem at all. Even change the homepage to http://www.yahoo.com/ for example works fine.

IE7 allot of bugs esp for those in transition frm beta to the final version.. the common prob would be the Normaliz.dll missing file. friend had it. had to do some file transferring and all cause it disrupts yr explorer.exe.. allot of people faced this prob too haha. use FF luved it haha

It asked me to install some program called "Malicious Code Removal Program" and asked to reboot my system after.

Not sure if the installation is completed successfully or not but new icon and interface have been appeared.

My experience using this IE already past 3 weeks, and so far yet no problem, I can see it eats lots of memory with enable tabs features while disabling the tabs features decrease alot memory usage and help you prevent such problem with hangs and goes un-known problems while using enable tabs features if sites bring more Add-Ons usage... wink.gif

On first 3tabs, 21,000-31,000K. Just alike firefox, if you bring more long term usage n' cache, then the (mem usage/pid) will sure vary, not same every time... blush.gif laugh.gif
