Note4 la of course - once received look no further - just root it and install TWRP - backup nandroid + backup efs - flash the Sweet Rom - eat pop corn while molesting your N4 - priceless.

I dun want to mess with Synapse Ultimate Kernel setting - to me this is good enough because of the standby time.
You can tweak even better with Ultimate kernel v34(mine is v33) - there are 3 version of UK v34

You don't have flash many times likeS3.
This sweet rom just need to flash once and you'll never look back.

Huhu - 10 minutes ago while going out of the car my N4 drop on the TAR road - i had clipped on my belt - suddenly i heard that "thud" sound on the TAR road - IT WAS MY N4 shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif
Lucky i had the Otterbox Defender on it - and it took a good impact on the side panel of the belt clip.
Everything is intact - phewww.

does sweet rom works well with googy max kernel? i haven't yet install any new kernel after finished installing sweet rom on my n4. Can't decide yet.
*
I haven't tried GK because I'm satisfied with UK v33 though v34 is waiting in my folder.

Hmm i will observe it first then with just the stock kernel. Did you install xposed framework on your sweet rom as from the method by not-i himself? Itchy hand want to try it with this custom rom tongue.gif
*
I'm allergic to xposed hence i make it deep sleep.

why leh?  hmm.gif

btw, i didn't know you can install modem to improve your signal strength! My signal has always been 0-2 bars in my area and i suspect that could be one of major battery drainer. Just learned about the modem thing and flashed the one for B0E3 under the sweet rom page now i get 3-max bars on signal all time!  rclxms.gif
*
Because when i use xposed you can remember everything while modding your device.
But after sometime when you want to tweak again - you can't remember which one have you done B4 - hence FC or bootloops awaiting for you around the corner sweat.gif

well since you're rooted, why not download twrp, put it in your sd card, get flashify from google store and use it to flash the twrp zip from your sd card. 1-2 steps only very easy. Then you can easily flash the modem biggrin.gif

and no,ota update doesn't work once you're rooted. Just unroot, install the update and root back using same method lo
*
Yeah Flashify is better for flashing img files.

remove what apps ??
yet in old phone or new phone ?
where to download ultimate kernel v34 ?
UK v33
UK v34 Cold Temp
UK v34 Stock Temp
UK v34 Hot Temp
Delete Synapse v34 series

INSTALLATION FOR v34 SERIES ONLY:
Turn the Synapse uninstaller first in the TWRP or CWM, and then install the Ultimate Kernel.

v34 Extra Infomartion :
P/S
the temperatures do not mean on the issue of x battery performance, it means temperature to which the GPU can get without the thermal control into action.

The more the better performance in games and the less the lower performance in games and that's the only thing that interferes temperature.

Got my Gold Note4 n comes with BOE1 firmware
After testing all ok I rooted it
Had problem flashing twrp using flashify app
So revert to odin to flash cwm instead
CWM unable to mount ext sdcard . So I flash the Sweetrom from internal memory instead
Will explore later solutions to install twrp ( my favorite)
Didn't face such issues on previous Note4 bought about 9+ months ago"!
