Hi,

As the title says, I want to output from my laptop which has a Intel HD 5500.
It has a HDMI port, though I'm not sure which HDMI version it is but according to the specs of Intel HD 5500, it should be able to support outputting to 1440p or more specifically, 2560x1440.

I have a Shimian 1440p monitor that only accepts DVI dual link and it doesn't have scaling so it only accepts 1440p input.
I've tried a few HDMI to DVI/ DVI-D cables and none of them worked.
What am I missing? Is it a software or hardware problem?

TQ
