Whether or not it's a question of Windows not protecting their platform, it is Apple's responsibility to ensure its products are bug/virus free when sold to customers. It's ridiculous to blame the Windows platform stereotypically. And part of the blame would be to the contract manufacturer which produces the iPod, which was where the virus originated from in the first place.

Perhaps it's really a PR thing to sell more Macs eh?
