For those of you having smart locks at the main door.. do you have a grill before the door? Find it a little troublesome if there is one, unless the grill is "smart" as well biggrin.gif

previous l have the same idea as your
but after some investigation with the help from fellow forumer...
my board isnt compatible with the sonoff power rating (all range and troublesome)

my advise for you...
use broadlink rm pro+, u can control ur gate via the RF
bonus: you can use the same device to control your tv, astro, fan, and aircon...

---

on another note, broadlink rm4 pro is coming soon...

what voltage does your gate board use? sonoff SV is 5-24v.. , I think most auto gate run on 12V for the boards

The above, doorbell will rings the traditional doorbell (which I've sonoff basic + mqtt) and captures image from my CCTV and sends to telegram.

Had it working with YAML before but it seems neater using node-red so I've few more automation converted into node-red too.

The node-red flow:
How does your Sonoff capture the doorbell button trigger?

Yup, something like the above. When the gpio switch is sensed, it will turn the relay for the Basic and it will generate a mqtt message and send this to mqtt broker.

maybe you could set a bigtimer to the front to allow yourself to switch off the doorbell whenever needed.. i.e someone triggering your doorbell to check for occupancy when you are on holidays.

Hi I was advised by my ID that I'd need about 50+ downlights for my smart home, but my lights seller told me it would be router sudoku if i were to buy direct wireless downlights like the Tuya Smart Wifi light as it would be 50+ IP's for the router to control

He then suggested for me to use lights with Zigbee 3.0 instead, but i can't really find much info about them? Is there anyone using Zigbee RGB downlights in their homes and which model and brand they're using now? Sorry no Hue cause it's way overpriced

Well, if u choose to go with the wifi method, a dedicated good router / enterprise router will handle these 50 clients pretty well..
