QUOTE(alucard89 @ May 25 2017, 04:36 PM) Are you using home assistant, openhub or something new? I'm using Homebridge. You can refer here: https://github.com/nfarina/homebridge

QUOTE(henryj8 @ May 25 2017, 10:24 PM) Do you try the mi camera? I managed to turn on/off the Mi camera from Siri now. If you are using homebridge, you may try it out. https://www.npmjs.com/package/homebridge-mi-camera

Finally, I managed to flash my Sonoff switches to use ESPEasy firmware by some soldering works. It's very stable and easy to use now. I managed to include it into homebridge so it can fully controlled by Siri. https://github.com/seikan/homebridge-sonoff...aster/README.md

QUOTE(Two5Kid @ Jun 27 2017, 05:55 PM) Anyone tried putting Sonoff into the light switches? Say I wanted to use one of the on/off light switch to control a few lights in the living room wirelessly. Initially, I just switch it on/off with my fingers, can I splice the Sonoff into the switch to control wirelessly? Yes, I've added a Sonoff basic to my study light. But I flashed it with ESP Easy firmware so it can works without internet.

QUOTE(idoblu @ Jun 29 2017, 09:02 AM) What can it do with no internet compare to original firmware? Same function. You still can remotely turn it on/off via internet or LAN. Timer is also working. And it's more responsive than the original firmware. The main purpose I flashed it to ESP Easy is I can ask Siri to control it and do automation.

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Jun 29 2017, 09:29 AM) There's a few firmware available (espurna, tasmota) Why do you prefer esp easy firmware among others? I just flash tasmota since it was recommended from a sonoff tutorial that I saw I'm a lazy person, ESP Easy is very easy to flash without additional IDE.

QUOTE(Two5Kid @ Jun 29 2017, 01:00 PM) I got a better idea, can we just pay you to help us do it? Haha! Now that would be a good idea don't you think so? If you are in Penang, just pass it to me, I can do it for you for free.
