Hello all the sifu here, would like to get some help, i just bought a xiaomi smarthome (gateway+temperature+motion+plug+window sensor, i set it up and everything work nicely for 1 day.

The next day after i restart my modem, suddenly all devices shows offline in Mi Home apps (but they are still functioning well), i then try to setup my phone hotspot to be exactly the same name and password as my home wifi, then all devices online again.

After that i turn off my hotspot to let the device connect back to the home wifi, all devices offline again. I am using unifi at home.

Anyone face this problem before?? Any advise? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the information, i tried all of the above, but one magic thing happen, i turn on my mi box, suddenly all mihome device can online already....even after i turn off the mibox they are still online...dont know the reason behind though.
