I have a wall switch given by the developer which is a momentary switch that has been wired to control my auto gate... i just plan to replace that wall switch with a sonoff switch... the only difference is that in a momentary switch, when you press it will complete the circuit... but when you let go it will go back to its original position.... so it just like pass the current for a short while... was womndering how to do it for smart switch
I have one of those too. But it's just a momentary switch @ 12v. No power supply hence unable to have any smart switch. Unless it's adjacent to some other wall switches where you can pull over the power supply to your momentary switch.. Then you'll need to get a T1 switch and mod the relay. There are some hack tutorials on this with a Sonoff basic.I'm currently looking at the 5v Sonoff inching switch, then just get a spare remote and solder it to the switch while powering the 5v with a USB.
