Hi, very sorry for no pictures to show.
I just bought several sonoff 2 gang smart switches to replace my existing normal 2 gang switches.

I found out some doubts after opening the existing 2 gang switch.
How can I connect to my sonoff smart switch if incoming live wires r from different phase connected to my existing normal 2 gang switch( yellow live incoming to control led 4 led lights and blue live control 2 exhaust fans). Sonoff 2 gang smart switch only accept single Live wire. If i want to use this smart switch i need to select either yellow or blue Live as my single incoming Live for sonoff smart switch? Am I right ....
Tq to all sifus here

Thanks for the reply. I am still new to this.
At the moment what i can see from my 2 gang smart switch having N, single Live incoming and L1 and L2.

I have a neutral line standby there but I am having 2 incoming Live wires as each of them r from different phase. One incoming Live is to control lighting and the other incoming Live is control exhaust fan.

How can I connect to my smart switch as it is only having a single Live incoming. Tq again to all sifus.

If normal exhaust fan (low amp) just use that incoming and out to both exhaust n lamp.. Ignore the light incoming.

If not, you need 2 different switch.

Tq for ur help. Troublesome to make another hole for adding another switch. Too bad , I should tell the wire man earlier abt this smart switch. He is only prepare neutral wire for me and well distributed all my 3 phase wire usage and my mistake never thought of smart switch only having a single Live incoming per switch.... or is there any others brand selling with connect to 2 incoming Live smart switch??

My option now
1. Choose either one incoming Live for it
2. Make another hole for adding a switch
3. Reserve this 2 gang smart switch for my single gang normal switch. It is weird but easy for me.
4. Restudy my phase power n redistribute them. This is hard and not easy for me.
5. Get another smart switch which can connect to 2 different Live incoming

Tq to all of u again here

Getting blurred picture here  biggrin.gif

Your existing 2 gang switch has 2 L wires (different phases), one to light  and 1 to fan.Now you bought a 2 gang smart switch that accept one L. You have N wire prepared for the smart switch. Correct?

In this case, I'll just use L wire from either phase to control both light and fan. Taped the other L wire and tuck it inside the whole for future use.

You don't need to worry if use only one of the phase. The power usage is not significant to upset load balance.

Tq for much for ur explanation. I have got that already. U have cleared up my doubts that this method would not upset my load balance. Good to hear this. Tqtq so much to all the sifus here.
