Finally on 29 August Google Home release update to supports sensor triggers, and I can now create automations between aqara and tuya with via matter hahaha

Tuya is using "works wirh Google"
Aqara is using matter and works with Google

So i just need to loop to the smart switch "L" and then to other smart switch "L" right?

I filtered out these 3 selections for my auto-gate

how about the LoRa chip, can we use the normal 433MHz remote for it? i dont intent for LoRa feature... trigger it 15KM away.

But original I have 3 switches (each one 3 Gangs). And there are looping power. That's why I need to loop the power/live between their "L". Then each switch L1/L2/L3 will only connect to each fan/light.
Any problems?

Hi all sifus, looking for advice.

I'm changing 8 pieces of downlights in my living room (6" round ones) and I'm not sure what I should get.

I'm okay with hub because eventually will add more modules. Prefer to have dimmable and turnable whites. My goal is to set schedules and scenes.

Any advise which downlights should I go for or should I just get normal LED downlights and get a smart switch or something? So far I saw the Phillips Wiz ones but not sure if they're adequate.

Oh yeah I was looking at this, but wifi only I heard that it will be quite an issue when connecting multiple lights. Is it true?

Hey guys, those using Z2M hows the experience been so far? I have been using manufacturer hubs from the start and never had any major issues, but i was wondering if i should switch to z2m; right now have 2 Aqara M2 Hubs and 1 Phillips Hue Hub (that is only connected to 1 device LOL), wonder is it worth switching everything over even if i have to repair every device. Maybe i can sell the hubs and get 1 zigbee coordinator idk, multiple floor so thats why went with more than 1 hub.

Anyone using those handle style Tuya smart lock? I'm currently using Eva M5. Want to check is it normal that any unlock activity from inside house (exiting from house) is not logged?

Yes wifi version. Not sure about the unlock request thing though, never tried. There is no unlock button or any buttons on the lock, just a fingerprint scanner outside

and forget there were pi out there.

recently i found a better alternative, the Orange Pi.
Half the price, double the performance.

if compared to esp, at least 10x performance.

Orange Pi 5 Plus, got 6TOPs compared to CoralTPU running at 4TOPs.
too bad Frigate not supported yet.
but YouTube got ppl show good performance using YOLOv5

Orange PI Zero 2W, planned to use it for autogate & alarm integration
but it don't have BIG little features, and it will b overkill performance for only simple task.

Just check the manual and yes you are right. Need to key in a combination to send a request to the app, then remote unlocking will work

Did u manage to figure out anything? NFC tags or scene buttons?

So need the tuya integration in HA to access the lock?
