If you have done any household electrical items like changing a 3 pin plug, etc then it's not. But if you never touch any electrical devices before better get an electrician. brows.gif

Both the switches wire have exposed copper better trim it or use wire tape to cover it.

still cant decide which one to get.
all sonoff comes with Neutral right?
1. Ya 3 gang
2. since xiaomi is using china server, any chances of disconnection /server down?
sonoff if internet down, are we able to use it?
ya i tape it, my wireman did a very lousy job.
*
You can consider Tuya Zigbee/Wifi Switches with or without Neutral. No regional server issue because they are global.

Whats the diff between T1 T2 and T3 switches?

What's the difference between oval ewelink controlled Sonoff S26 smart plug Sonoff and the round Smartlife app controlled smart plug Tuya?

any pros and cons?
*
So many stars still don't know how to attached webpage rclxs0.gif
Anyway, if specs is correct, Tuya is cheaper and better since rated 16A and also come with energy monitoring function. I think it was being offer as low as RM20 during online sales before MCO. Just look around Shopee for better price. Just different APP does almost same thing.

I know. Just lazy to type.
The cheapest one is 10A only without monitoring. It's big enough for general use, right?
*
Yes, 10A is ok for low wattage electrical items but I would try not to used that for water kettle though.
How much is the cheapest now? Can share the link?

Thanks for the photo above. looks quite tough to install  flex.gif

yup..im thinking of reusing my old rocker type switch.. thats why looking for some smart switch that can use with the old rocker type switch

Just wondering, one sonoff mini switch is for 1 gang switch only? i mean if my rocker switch is 4 gang 1-way, then i need to have 4 of those sonoff mini for each switch?
*
Just wait for 4 Gang no neutral. TUYA 4 GANG Zigbee will be ready by end of April. If your Led 3W & above no flickering issue.

QUOTE(zaku90 @ Apr 20 2020, 08:01 PM)
Hi all sifu, I have something in my mind to setup in my new house, but this might be still a simple setup but might be expanding in future. Currently what i am planning is to have a smart ceiling light specifically the xiaomi Yeelight ceiling light below. This will be installed mostly on all room and also living room.

user posted image

So my question is, is there any smart controller that is touch screen that I can put like on the bedside table (dont want to use smartphone because i am thinking for guest to use in guest room as well). Or is it that google nest hub is one of the choice. If yes, is there any other device that I can use that is cheap that I can put/install in every room. The intention is to make the controller intuitive for guest to use.

I am thinking of smart switch, but then just wanna go a step further to look more high tech in the room to have the touchscreen control on bedside table.  tongue.gif  tongue.gif
If google nest hub is one of the choice, what is other device that can achieve what i want to do.

Thanks
