recently i bought a set of magnetic smart track light from china taobao for my new house

the track light can be connected to xiaomi home, but when i try to pair it with the app in my phone, it always show device is offline, when i contact their customer service, they recommend me to use 小爱音箱, or the xiaomi bluetooth mesh thingy

does anyone has experience connecting smartphone to those magnetic track light?

I have already changed my xiaomi home region to china, and the track light seems to only be able to pair with my phone bluetooth when using batch connect, if try to connect individually it always fail

have you tried to connect them individually with your phone bluetooth and control them through the app? seems like the hub is compulsory if need to use more feature

What will be difference in electrical works cost for doing smart home system? Will it double the cost of normal wiring?

adding neutral cable is cheap, coz most of the ppl simply tapped it from aircon's switch or water heater.

the headache part is 2ways switch, which is not available.
i have to sync the switch status for it to work.

Eh... Not sure. Never used a D1 before. But it fits into my regular old switch box. So that's that.

What is your zigbee setup like? Using what hub or coordinator? What brand stuff do you use? If Aqara older ones they are stubborn one, they will stick to the initial paired router or repeater.

You can try off your whole house electricity and on it back to power cycle switches if you have that.

BTW did a full migration from Aqara to Z2M and i would say i am pretty pleased, although its no where as close to being noob friendly using the manufacturer hub.

Even started over my HA, now move to docker instead of vm, so far so good.

Whats PAI? So far i got HACS which works just like the os version, got vs code and file editor, z2m and my mqtt broker i am using emqx all in their own dockers, now starting to mess with frigate docker as well.

I just got my Google Nest Mini gen 2 few days ago. For the price i think its loud enough. Usually just set my volume to 60 - 70%.
How long gave you been using them? My Tuya panel *touch wood* almost 3 months now no issues yet

Probably easier to just put NFC tag in your car and you tap that, or use geolocation with your phone.

Which model you using? Maybe time to upgrade LUL

Does that happen frequently or randomly?
I kinda expected geolocation for homekit to be perfect and not too much battery consuming with the home app

Thats weird, i am using 13 Pro Max also, dont experience that but i dont always rely on it also so maybe i never noticed the times that i used the remote instead LUL

Frigate coral tpu uses old yolo object detection model which is pretty inaccurate,  many times can’t tell person and dogs or cats, so don’t expect it can recognise car plates. This requires custom train model
Enlarge your home location radius, this will help to increase success rate.

My autogate auto open bases on my iPhone gps location running on home assistant companion app, the success rate is over 90%

Maybe need to factory reset your phone and start over because IMO thats not normal behavior (the hey siri thing)
