When i get to TSB SS2 this afternoon.

Normal edition they got yesterday
Deluex edition they just got today and shipping afternoon only for online order (the hand phone strap not ready yet!)

got my deluxe edition and install it just moment ago, also claim rank up as well
just curious bout 1 thing, y do we still need to put in the cd for online game
and oso handphone strap can onli get next mnth according to my fren who pick up the game for me

got my bf2142 yesterday morning.. pre-order from tsb..
tiki_tiku psycho me to buy the game..
take me 1 hour to install everything and play.. the EA master server also down when i want to create my account..
play LAN with tiki_tiku for 2 round (kena buli beb)..
then play online on "i don't know which" server.. just join in.. got ping around 100.. also kena buli..
then my kepala start to coz of the lagging and my mouse like to point up the sky or to the ground.. another thing that my rank doesn't move up.. so, always kena buli coz only using basic weapon..

This happens to me alot. I think it's because it's loading all the geometry.. buildings and stuff.

One thing new to me (in 2142) is the netcode, on how they treat/compensate for high-ping players. I'm really not used to the 'spikes' when compared to Enemy Territory/Quake 3's anti-lag system.

OH well.

c'mon guys... the ranking system is back online, so get ur rank up now hhahaha.

btw, I believe there are plenty of low ping servers around right? What is the good ping range?

before this, I'm playing Enemy Territory all the way, and the acceptable ping range were around 50~200ms..

Lol.. I live about 400km away and I got it the day after launch via PosLaju. Something sure is wrong here.

Anyone read the article on BF2142 containing some spyware and the white sheet of paper telling you about it? It seems to be missing in the singaporean distribution version, so I guess we're safe . I pre-ordered from the software boutique.
