Hello to Everyone, I remember the old time's where I would wake up early on Saturdays to start playing console game's, I would spend almost the whole day playing, nowday's console game's have lost it's magic dust touch, it's just boring, mostly I blame companies that over use of the same game engine to release many types of game's just to cash in the bucks. How Sad

First of all, game development is a business, not a charity. They have to make money anyway.
Second of all, your statement isn't really true - think of all the games that have been released in the past few years and you'll see that because there have been so many it's just that some will be good and other suck. (I used to feel the same way when I ONLY bought pirated games - bored because I didn't appreciate them) Perhaps it's also because you have other priorities besides playing games? I used to spend 24-48 hours playing PS2/Xbox with my friend - but now we spend perhaps 5 - 10 hours a week max due to work, etc. |

It's probably you, not the games. I remember when I was younger I felt that way too, but as I grow older, I have other priorities.
You can't really sit down and enjoy a game session when you have other (unresolved) obligations on your mind. Also, as you get older, it takes a heck of alot more to impress. Guess we all can't stay as the little kid with snot running down his nose no matter how much we wish for it (although I don't know why anyone would want to stay a budak hingusan 4ever, no matter what his sentimental reasons may be) |

maybe he's tired of the typical U, D, L, R, A, B, X, Y, L, R control type...
Well, I'm tired of it already... nowaday games are getting more and more complicated, more buttons to press, more combination and steeper learning curve. That's why I'm really anticipating the release of Wii I think it's kinda the same theory that most of us who is working our ass off, are envying those little kiddo with snot running down his nose |
