u mean they cut the ears just to make it stand up????? OMG!!!!

yeah,cruel right?i feel pity actually , that time i got feel chopper ear miniature schnauzer is nice. look yeng.....but it cruel when i know have to cut the ears...

i thot da ears will stand up automatically if you trim da ear hair botak .. hehe. Didn't know in order to make the ear crop, u haf to cut it off .

today went bake and Yen , too bad the retail shop no open today..tomorrow will go there buy baking soda 1kg = rm3.90 right? reasonable

yayaya ... 1kg is RM 3.90 . Still cheap .. hehe. Got small bottle one also - RM 0.90 per bottle. But I think buy 1kg better lor coz i use it most of the time . During bath time, i also use. After i shower Hepy, the last bucket of water ar .. i add in some baking soda and stir the water. Then bath Hepy with that final bucket of water to get rid of any dog smell (which Hepy doesn't have lar but jz for hygienic purpose). hehehe.

Well, docking the tail is not as painful as the ears I think.... coz the tail, they do it when the puppy is only a few days old. 2 methods... 1 is the rubber band method, where they tie a rubber band tightly, causing the blood to stop flowing. After a few days, the tail will die and it will drop off. The 2nd method is going to the vet to surgically remove it. Now most breeders would do the 2nd method but there are still backyard breeders using the rubber band method.

Cropping is normally done at 2 months old. So imagine, 2 months old the pup can feel alot of pain already. First they will cut the ear flap to make it pointy and attractive. Then they will wrap the ears with bandages or with some plastic frames to help the ear stand.... sometimes not every cropping is nice. Some vets do it wrongly, which makes the ear look ugly or have scar or do not stand properly. Also, the ears need to be wrapped for like 20 to 30 days....

i think its very cruel 2 do so.
its like humans doing plastic surgeory. if u look really ugly n u think u need 2 go under da knife, its ur rights. but ppl doing cropping n docking is kinda inhumane. we should love our pets despite how they look like.

having 2 shih tzus wif funny eyes i don thinks its not nice. y da ear growing nicely hv 2 go n cut, its like cutting the nose 2 spike the face.

still disagree wif ppl who're doing this. my hometown they r many ppl using the rubberband method. some ppl even chop of the tail jus like that when its still a puppy without anesthetic. imagine how would the dog feel.

I prefer them with a normal ear, it ll know nicer. With a cropper ear looks abit weird. But regarding the tail, I never see a long tail MS before and use to see short tail MS. So feel that long tail will a bit weird..

You sure not docked? Is the tip pointy when you feel it or blunt like sausage? Last time you said your Hepy is black and silver rite? I think your latest pic showed Hepy as salt and pepper, just the dark version only. Coz Black and silver really got contrast a lot.

Not too sure the tail is docked or not .. hehe. The tip feels like sausage .. hahaha. I dunno Hepy is wud coour also . Last time before he went for grooming, he's BLACK in colour . Then after grooming, suddenly become totally greyish. Now that his hair is growing again, it's black again liao . I also dunno wud colour .. hhahahahahahaha. But then still love him a lot!! Hehehe .. he's cute

well will try the method how u used to bath Hepy , cuz Pretty moustache still smell fishy...have to buy it as soon as possible.

Lui Lui has docked tail ma? Or normal long tail ? . I'm not sure about hepy. Waiting for crazymouse to clarify .. hehe. His tail looks like cocktail sausage and it's rounded at the tips. It's not prickly like wud crazymouse mentioned .. hehe. I'm waiting for her answer . But regardless it's docked tail or not, I still love him . He's a very special puppy to me!!! Means a lot to me!! He teman me when I'm bored / sad .

Rounded tip, means docked liao loh.... coz docking, some people can dock till short like the length of our thumb, some will just simply dock, so it can be long. How long is Hepy's tail? Coz if it is a rounded tip, most likely docked already.

Haahaha, not neccessary bring own furkid for show wan. as long as we love them is enough la right ^^
