yaya. cannot survive by just playing.
some lucky ones turn to coaching and selling equipments.
some just got fed up.

I remember once when i play tt during youth competition i told my other frens about sth like cannot rely on table tennis for income,
we stay in an apartment then coach heard m conversation. straight away he "song" with me.
i was like sweat.gif

Oh??? Tsd, which rubbers do you mean?

I think reactor Corbor (a chinese rubber) is kinda close to sriver.

There are many... one that I have used recently is Dawei Inspirit Ultra Light, behaves almost like Sriver. Friendship also have few rubber that behave like Sriver, if I can remember correctly one of them is callled Higher. Most of them will cost you below RM50. There are many others as well.
*
agree with the Dawei Inspirit. it seems to be quite powerful.

Yes. Ritc 729 or Palio Cj 8000 plays similar toSriver.
*
729 got different version. if not mistaken 729-5 is the one that is more similar to sriver.

other types of 729 has more tacky rubber surface instead of sriver's grippiness.

Cj8000 IMO is also more to tacky characteristics china rubber.

Palio Hidden Dragon is not bad too. soft sponge but less powerful when compared to sriver.

another 1 that I do not wanna miss out is Reactor Corbor. unknown brand but it seems to be not bad in terms of performance.

still got 1 week to train smile.gif Just join lah... Most likely I will be going to the tournament without a single match practice since the last time I played a friendly game, 4-5 month ago. I have not been been playing actively since 2006. For the past few years, I think I played a total of less than 10 times, max 1-2 hours each. So you can see how rusty I will be. However, I practice on the walls almost every day for the past few years, only dont have real game practice.

Worse of all, I just changed my entire bat setup 2 weeks ago... last time I used Butterfly Kong Lin Hui Special with Butterfly Bryce Speed on both sides, my new setup is a Galaxy V15 blade with medium tacky rubber ( Red Diamond ) and a Palio Pimple rubber at the backhand. This setup is totally different from what I have last time with a huge difference in playing characteristic... I only hope I will be able to cope with it.
