I have never encountered this type of problem.
Definately it is an installation fault.
Change your installer, he is talking crap.

1. check ur grounding - dont ground too near battery/engine
2. alternator carbon brush - last time my fren's wira got this sound..then his alternator kong after few days...carbon finish..after put in new carbon then no more this sound
3. spark plug cable leak - old spark plug cable will somehow 'leak' the high voltage to the chassis ground...causing the aeroplane sound
4. HU/amp filter kong

Most probably it has something to do with the cabling. I've a friend that encountered a similar problem after he has installed high-end XLO cables into his system.

Your RCA cable needs to be checked/shielded or changed. It's picking up all sorts of car noises.

most new hu..this thing is inside the amplifier/hu itself..

but some old HU do come with a little small black box at the 12v line..inside it is a few capacitor to cut off unwanted noise
