The Sri petaling wet market in front of The store is force to close down for redevelopments.

Stay tune for more update.

Update with site progress and the showroom exterior.

Looks like new Mrt 2 location? Sure sapu first before public reveal. It's also the best location to put the MRT Station. Transit oriented mixed dev here?

If mrt at this location mean go underground all the way from Kuchai to Bukit Jalil already. Abit hard I think.

Those hawker pay Rm2k to Rm18k for the place/stall/license to do business in the wet market. Suddenly force to close down without any relocation or any afford to discuss the matter, how are they going to keep quiet?

Some restaurant at the glass city just renovated and open for business few months only. Got one restaurant just open last week some more. For sure a protest is coming.

All the hawkers seems frustrating and sad, as their business are picking up one of them said. Ask them where are they goin to move, they say DBKL didn't give any relocation plan for them. sad.gif

I heard there is a protest on proposal for market in Sri Petaling area near beside oug. The place where there are 2 rows of 2 storey shops in housing area

The morning market still operating now, but all glass city shop been cleared.

The morning market will move to the multistorey car park at the new shop there as told.

As I know will be inside, and currently the car park there abit under utilize. So good to get more people use it. But for sure need more proper control in traffic.

At the moment only ground floor is opened for parking. Usually weekday after 1p.m and weekend is full. DBKL should really open up 1st and 2nd floor for parking.

The parking is also like a dump site, full of rubbish... cry.gif

Seriously not advisable to have a wet market in the multi-storey parking.

Haha... l managed to park once at first floor...
Understand it is open air, the ventilation is not that good especially there is building close by.

If the wet market is to be at first floor, wet smell will "stay" within the floor for a while.... haha..

but this part of sri petaling is super jam. just imagine surrounded by all the shops.

but good thing is u can walk to all the restaurant, sundry shop, banks etc easily. that is what i normally do.

This area getting congested especially the double parking issue.
New parking building has become wet market which make the situation go worst.

Definitely there will be some jam at traffic light but it's not that bad as you think la. There is many alternative road to go in Sri petaling and road enlargement/improvement already in process all around Sri petaling enter and exit road.

More jam = more Ong. Which hotspot in Klang valley that doesn't jam? Lol.

haha! talking about the widening the road, u go see what happens at the surrounding area done by dbkl. those car park at the old shop lots only done 10%, then dbkl stops work. Of cos i hope that the developer can sell at premium price, that helps to boost my properties value there too.

Those buggers hack off the apron and leave piles of concrete for several weeks, and now its been few months since the last day they clear off the debris.

Feel like DBKL has no budget for them to take the subsequent work. vmad.gif

Ya! we stay in KL pay so high assessment fee but dbkl can do lousy job.

This incident has happened weeks back.
A minor mishap on the casting side. Now already clearing the debris it seems.

From my knowledge, the developer has good track record in the construction of previous projects.

It's still major mishap judging on the scale. Involving injury or death doesn't co-relate to the scale of the mishap. Hence major mishap without injuries best define this.

Nowadays every developer spend resources on their legal fees to defend themselves from numerous of dispute between them and media/buyers.

KUALA LUMPUR: Pinnacle Sri Petaling, a 38-storey condo in Kuala Lumpur that is due for completion in 2021, partially collapsed last week.


According to a report by SAYS, a unit owner of Pinnacle Sri Petaling said the alleged incident took place on June 27.

According to the homeowner, who spoke on condition of anonymity, the collapse was caused by "insufficient pillar support for the condominium's corridors".

"According to the sales and marketing lady from Pinnacle Homes HQ, the collapse happened due to insufficient structure to support (the corridors)," the owner told SAYS.

He was also informed by his real estate agent that the affected area is currently being cleared.

The homeowner said according to Pinnacle Homes' sales and marketing team, an inspection is being carried out by the Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT).

The report also said the Pinnacle Sri Petaling project was approved by KPKT.

Pinnacle Sri Petaling is a three-block condo located near Bandar Baru Sri Petaling.

A check on KPKT's website showed that Pinnacle Homes Sdn Bhd is a registered developer, and Pinnacle Sri Petaling is its first project.

If the news was purely on the construction work I think they would not have to delete. They must have written something unfounded or slanderous or malicious.

Many projects have mishap in construction before but many are sensationalizing this issue.

are all Malaysia developers that powerful and influential till can cover up the fact of the news? this is not a malicious defamation but actual incident taken place, they have no rights to block or delete the discussion on the net. MCMC also needed to kawtow to these developers?

Those photos and video are not edited at all, it's real as what happened.

Corridor does collapsed, no one frame them or edited those photos and video to frame this project.

Yes, buyers and developer name must be protect. After all, it's business.

But how about those public safety concern who always traveling around that area?
They didn't buy the project = doesn't have any right to know anything happened amongst their neighbourhood?

I hope developer can really come out and release d outcome of investigation, rather than trying to close this case just like that... It is about thousands of life staying there in the future.... sad.gif

Really sad to see this kinda news. Kesian d buyers.

And cannot simply say no injury no debris and this is a small case... Very irresponsible.....

Anyone could engage lawyer to issue letter of demand. whether the court concur with the letter of demand is another matter. until the plaintiff bring to court, it is as good as another junk mail.

Does it constitute defamation of user name as well? Since its widely circulated?

If ppl remain anonymous chatting in forum.. Dont understand why can be sued? Dont understand the logic behind it.. Anyone can say anything they like when making a discussion, aint it?

No private individual or company have the right to demand the IP addresses of the individual posters from the message board owner(s) or the ISP, let alone trace it to whichever machine its posted from.

I suggest all don't continue to give comment on this topic. I'm sure developer will then stop chasing after anyone here.

I'm not siding developer but my construction friend told me this is new technology that they use call something like 'split unit' the pillars r all at above parking floor to support the entire building then the above building will cut out a lot pillar. So the incident is not serious. It's safe according to my friend.

Just wanna be fair to the buyers.

My 2 cents.

Somehow the more they do the more they're damaging their own reputation.

Instead of threatening people with LOD, why not come out with a clear and simple statement telling everybody the issue and methods to solve it by assuring it won't happen again?

They can sue as they wish over here, but they should know they might lose more than gain from doing it. Seriously don't know which PR firm would have such suggestions by taking these actions.

They should get a better PR firm.

i guess most of the people would appreciate if developer give a proper response and admit there is an incident and whether it may or may not affect the integrity of building instead of issue LOD

at least AK give an official statement for their condo waterfall issue

Of course solely members in LYN won't even effect their sales I'm any way, it's about word of mouth bro. With the listed names, the amount of people could spread to all other people around them. And it rolls like a snowball and works like it as well. When more people is pissed, more rumours will spread. Isn't this a worse jeopardy?

The actions that were taking on us is beyond their extremity of threat. It's just plain unintelligent.

After reading the news and the LYN responses, I am having phobia with developer that using their legal muscles to suppress freedom of speech.

The removing of the news report on mainstream medias for the happened incident showing how influential they are.

I would avoid this kind of developer. Imagine if one day I share the defects photo online, I might get into legal case.

Doesn't matter if you're influential or not. From what I've been reading here, this developer is employing scare tactics to stop the spread of this mishap, which speaks volumes about themselves to begin with. Other news outlet are scared about dealing with legal action. Understandable, but the Star and World of Buzz still have their articles up despite the developer exercising their legal 'muscle'.

If you blur out the unit no. and your name, no outsider will know who you are. Besides, they have no right to demand the IP address behind each and every poster on this forum and get an ISP to trace it to which PC(s).

I believe it was just discussion purely based on fb real pictures n video.. As a layman we may not really understand what is happening. Why not the dev just post a explanation statement on whats going on.
Just a suggestion.
