They say not enough delivery people wor... sigh... typical PosLaju service. Skynet can easily beat them flat in terms of service and tracking facility.

after toying around with the new nano... i manage to convert a anime using Nero Recode and put it into ipod nano to view, although it small, the video quality still good as seen on monitor... nice... no camera, if not i will post those screen shot here  sad.gif

yaya if u do manage to get EasySwitch do inform us... biggrin.gif

What video bitrate are u using? I've tried 256kbps and 384kbps but quality is so-so only. Audio is excellent even at 96kbps.

In case anyone asking... the Cover Flow feature has a bug even with 1.01 firmware. It doesn't support compilations properly!

Instead of 1 album cover pix, it shows multiple cover pix for every artist in a compilation. On iTunes, no problem. Only new nano and classic have this issue. Not sure about touch or iPhone though.

the profile i choose was iPod Video, not iPod Video AVC.. wats the different betweem AVC n the other??

i converted the anime at 2.5Mbps, since this anime is a promo video (prelude) for tat anime so the size was small, can do it on 2.5Mbps

i tried convert 1 episode of Lost just now, at 1Mpbs, choose this bitrate to match the original file size, it turn out still ok...

both converted file if compare with the original file, the converted file will be a little bit blur when watching on my monitor, watch on ipod wont notice, since the screen small

Agreed. I used Nero Recode 2 and tried the iPod Video AVC profile and got super quality videos. File size is only 55MB for a 24 mins video.

Kaibutsu Oujo or better known as Princess Resurrection. I've all the episodes except 25 which should be out this Thu on torrent. However, apart from 9 episodes, the rest have poorly timed subs.

morgan,

Better find a real courier agent to handle all the delivery now as business is growing. PosLaju is ok for small one time business. However, do ensure that courier agents have proper insurance coverage (full). I read somewhere that some only provide RM 300 max for coverage even if item costs several thousands of ringgit.

I'm going to encode Pirates of Silicon Valley and MEGAS XLR overnight... need to test the screen quality with movies instead of animation.

Added on September 28, 2007, 12:58 amIMO, Nationwide is very problematic. Last time almost quarrel with the courier fella because they couldn't deliver on time. Their reason, "Not enough drivers for your area". I was like, "WTF?"...

Skynet is also well-proven. Their online tracking is superb as u can even download the Airway Bill (AWB) in JPG format for easy reference. However, their insurance doesn't allow full claim. Max is RM 300 only which is a pity actually. And heard of many cases of items went missing upon delivery (esp. laptops).

Citylink should be good but I've not used their service b4.

DHL is of course top-notch... super customer service (SS2, PJ branch) and many packages for any businesses (big or small). I shipped car parts from MY to PH once and the client got it in 1 day with tax declaration done by DHL.

FedEx is a little PIA... need to have a prepaid account.

DHL does but their rates almost doubled. I only use them for international deliveries or emergencies.

Better don't buy 1st generation iPhones yet... Apple will do anything to cripple unauthorized appz to prevent stability issues.

Wait till official release. No point dumping RM 2k+ of hard-earned money to buy a brick later.

However, if u still have lots of money (after deducting expenses spent on GF, wife, mistress, car, house, apartment, condo, gadgets, oversea trips, fancy restaurants n etc)... just buy it.

Remember, these so-called 3rd party people are out there to make money only. They can't help u if u brick the unit.
