Instead of opening with real player, open your RMVB file with Windows Media Player (even if it says incompatible extension, just ignore it)
Then use CRTL+I to capture your screenshot |

QUOTE(tan_pang @ Oct 18 2006, 11:11 PM) you must enable Overlay to allow you take the screenshot Enable or disable ? If not mistaken, "Overlay Mixer" is not ticked (in Media Player Classic), which means disable. See my screenshot :else, what ever video player software you use you also cant print screen it ![]() For WMP, disable hardware acceleration (under "Display Properties") will solve the problem capturing image but got blank screen only. |

I just playing around for the best option. Actually, those option is set to create "thumbnail" in MPC. |

Actually, those option is set to create "thumbnail" in MPC. becoz direct x 9 can make you print screen the movie by enable the overlay... correct me if im wrong |

I got that error "GetCurrentImage failed, hr = 8000ffff" when Ctrl-I with Overlay Mixer setting. Capture success with other Renderers. This is Media Player Classic. All codecs.
