Whether u like it or not, there is a lot more nuts like the madstone who willingly supports tmnut by paying RM88 for nothing, oh yeah, to surf net and read silly mails.

well, if i would like to only do those, including chatting, i would bring my notebook and sit at any hotel/Sidewalk Cafe/Airport.

I guess Some of us here are not GREEDY, just the other way round.
Its just Most of us here din claimed for what we paid for. But our sole ISP tend to be Greedy and cripplered us.

no one in their right mind will pay rm88 for surfing and chatting. nuts like that madstone are probably tmnut employees who come here just to annoy us with their ridiculous comments about how happy they are paying tmnut to throttle them.

I don't see what the problem is? The moderator reprimanded you for being a troll. You were trolling. People were flaming you for trolling. Stop trolling. Problem solved. Your 'point' is that we should just put up with TM Net's poor service for no good reason. That's not a point. That's an opinion, and a shitty one at that.

Guys, someone from TMnet called me on my cell around noon today and asked me regarding my lodged report (i lodged a report coz of slow connection), n i told him as of now, everything's fine, except for p2p running slow.

Then he confirmed that they do block p2p (like we dont already know *sigh*), and i asked him when will they unblock our p2p usage.

Then he told me that /*** possibly in January they will start offering a value-added service, for p2p usage. That means p2p will be unblocked for these people who subscribed for the value-added service. I asked him how much will it cost per month, but he had no idea also ***/

PS: Don't take my word for the statement within /*** ***/. because this is just word of mouth, and cannot be confirmed as of now.

And he further confirmed, that people connected to Wangsa Maju (exchange?), no not exchange im not sure wat its called, are bound to get 60.48.* ip. So bad luck for us, no p2p for now.

Yes, in like stop paying for extra bandwidth that TMNet has no intention of supplying you. Simple as that. If P2P is blocked, $60 line is as good as a $90 line, heck - even a Dialup line (if you calculate the line costs) is just as good for regular surfing and email.

thanks for telling us about the new p2p packages your tmnut technician told you. let us hope what that technician say is true and tmnut will have new packages for p2p users. otherwise all of us will leave tmnut once WIMAX is available.

If it's too expensive, I think I'll stick with my bypass. biggrin.gif

This whole thing is like building a tol plaza on a previously free highway (paid with road tax aka RM88).

so at first they throttle p2p silencely
at the present, with no other choice, they confirm the throttling individually
in the future, they unthrottle p2p but charge us violencely........well

Can't u see tmnut scheme to cheat us??? TMNUT = LIAR

In near future, we may be paying for p2p, and tmnut can always do wat they do now, for the 100% of the promise, they only deliver 60% more or less. they is no point paying them for p2p can't u see.

Even if u agree with their term. they is chances, viewing the 10 years history of tmnut, that tmnut will turn the table around on u again.

Well, i guess after we are paying for broadband (RM88), P2P (RMXXX), then tmnut will scam us more blood by saying for e.g.

"U need to pay for LOYALTY, COPYRIGHT..etc, only after then, u can use p2p.........there is no end about it.

If they charge on the p2p which limit me to surf nets and chat, i would surely cancel the package and chat at cc for RM2 per hours. LOL

yes, the package is so true, and tmnut is targeting ppl who don mind to get the speed back even they need to pay a bit more.

isnt that ironic?, tmnut should provide us the said speed yet asking us to pay extra to get back what we belong????

Its like i steal your car, and i call u, in order to get back your car, u need to pay me 10% of the market value.........nice isn't it??

A lot of ISPs (American/Canadian/European) charge by the gigabyte downloaded. They don't care if its P2P, BT, FTP or HTTP - you just pay by the gigabyte.

Wow, a chance to go back to the 'good' old days of surfing when using dial up. Turn off website pictures, off animations & don't install shockwave.

Hmmm, does this mean that those with value-added service, for p2p usage will download from international peers meanwhile those without the value-added service will just leech from that guy?
