hi guys
im referring to this guy i bought an xfx 7900gt last 2 weeks

he's from johore
and told me to bank in the money cuz some other guy was gonna cod him asap
and then later another guy called 'seanl' was supposed to pay a lil bit higher plus shipment to kl
i bank in the money to his maybank account
(then it appeared to me how stupid i was to wire the whole amount of rm750)

anyway, that was on thursday the 5th
he said he's gonna send it on friday the next day (the 6th)

later i asked him the consignment number through pm, he didnt say anything except with the message that i'll receive the card shortly

i sms him still but no reply
called him but no one picked it up (even me using other hp numbers)
right now, im always going through the voicemail inbox of that number

what should i do?the guy's info is contained in the maybank account right?

p/s: it's funny cuz he's a chinese with the name of Lee Theng Same but using nickname Genesh...haha

u shouldnt have bank-in to him in the first place.... HE JOINED LAST MONTH!

well, i guess the least u can do is track him down by his maybank account's details...

He is using some of the oldest trick in the book to lure your to pay him in advance. Can't believe people still fall for this kind of tricks.

Anyway...do PM and SMS him about this thread also.

and that sabahan guy gave me genesh's address in johore

dunno how this would help though

cuz immediately after the transfer i gave myself a smack on the face for wiring the cash in lump sum

maybank account was not his...it was that sabahan's

if you transfered the money into the Sabahan's account, why can't he refund you the money?

If you were the Sabahan guy, you "sold" your item and shipped it to Genesh after receiving this payment would u refund it?

Maybe I missed something but what's the proof that this Sabahan guy is also a victim? That he already shipped the item to Ganesh? Sorry if this already proven. Just want to make things clear.

It's not proven, but there's someone else who received the same thing
Money banked into him by someone else, item sent to Genesh
So he did it to 2 ppl

Besides, what would Genesh have to gain if he asked gtoforce to bank into some anonymous account without the guy having anything to do with this?
If the guy's a conman, he'll just deny it and there's no way to prove that he's lying anyway
