Hope RLC gets more chance in the final 2 games.

Nice to see Mou text Schurrle for the PL medal. Nice gesture.

And also we have sign the brazillian Nathan? Hope he turns out well. Talking bout Brazillian, how is Piazon doin? Hope he is doin well, would lik to see him playing aa starting 11 in senior squas some day.

cuz Cahill more than capable to be Terry partner, we still have Ivanovic and Zouma plus Christensen already part of the squad..

if we buying a new CB it will be a young player..maybe Varane..but not Godin

quite simple actually.
*
We've seen how Mourinho treats youngsters, it's quite obvious his preference is for a CB tested at Europe level. Zouma et. al. is fine, but he'll still go in for a. experienced replacement for Terry plus he doesn't have much faith in Cahill TBH. Ivanovic's just a stand in CB, he's so much better at RB. And as before, I don't see Terry making it through all games for next season so it's time for a replacement.
I see a new CB for Chelsea, most likely Godin or some other Champion's League level defender.

Looks like MU prepare huge chunks of money for bale.they have good squad depth with Adm,mata, herrera, young and depay.if they can get someone as good as carrick, they will be fearsome next season.

We need a good squad depth too if we want to win both epl and CL.i wanna CL next season for mou

no Godin. not very young, might gonna cost a lot. later need time for him adapt to epl and chelsea somemore.

terry still strong, no signs of slowing down. still best CB in the entire league, bar none. played every single minute in the league. too important in our def line. Mr Chelsea still has at least 2 season left in him  icon_idea.gif

we have Cahill, Zouma, Iva and more youth coming through Christensen and Ake. can recall Kalas from loan if needed to shore up def.
*
Strongly dispute your claim that Terry is the best CB in the league, far from it I think. Matic makes him look good is what it is.
and when has Chelsea ever baulked at huge transfer fees? Mourinho gets who he wants.

Don't see Varane fitting in well at Chelsea.
That's the thing about Chelsea. It's hard to look at transfer targets in terms of their individual merits. Varane might one on one be better than Godin, but does he fit into the Mourinho style of play?

Varane was already an excellent player at Lens. But anyways...
Key word being Madrid.
I don't think Mourinho was ever that happy at Madrid, in the sense his philosophy of play was curtailed by what fans and management expected of Madrid. Chelsea however, we can all agree that it's Mourinho's team 100%. Mourinho feels Varane suits Madrid, but does he feel Varane suits Chelsea?

Rlc will be playing next match and few other youth might get a chance as well
Tbh I dun really see piazon able to break into the squad.
he is not doing well enough at german and probably he will stay there.

lol. i know u don't like the guy but just check his stats this season, i don't think any defender is doing what JT in the league right now, especially at his age.
yes, Matic also plays a big role, but defense works as a team and JT is the captain that holds the line together.

in the era of FFP, Chelsea cant spend like they used to. now we are looking to maximize value and resources. if we are going to sign Koke and Griezmann as well, Godin's fee will rack up the bill even higher.
actually i also think that signing Godin will slow Zouma's progression into the first team.

if we going to buy big, we will buy young players because of re-sale value.

this is all ffp stuff.

but we might buy experience just to keep the squad balance, but not our philosophy now..but mou prefer to keep his senior players happy..leading by example on the pitch and dressing room..

about matic make jt look good..well it is a system..mou put his players in a specific system on how he want us to play..

i can say the same thing about other players..hazard is good because azpi limit himself going forward..costa is good because matic keep it safe for cesc to move forward..iva can go forward because willian will cover him..

so, JT is good enough for at least on more season.

Well unfortunately for him chelsea set a very high standard.
To break in player must at least show he is capable of world class talent. sweat.gif
