Bought one to replace TD8970 which failed due to lightning and was out of warranty.

I do notice that its operating temperature is not as warm as 8970 which was very warm. However, it seem unable to keep the setting. Each time I switch off the unit, I have to enter all the parameters again upon switch on. Any way to overcome this?

Overall better than 8970 especially the dual band and wireless schedule features. But I do miss the blinking LEDs on 8970. Now it is either on or off.
