The Swiftech H220-X AIO Cooler is pre-installed with 2 units of 120mm which makes the full length of radiator is 240mm.

On the side of the radiator, user can find the visible liquid coolant level or standard we called is a reservoir. The reservoir itself has white led to easily monitor and peek though inside the liquid coolant.

User can refill the coolant by easily remove the stopping head off at the side of the radiator itself.

Swiftech radiator is integrated with a pump that using ceramic shaft PTFE bearing type for the pump itself. The pump is powered up by single Sata 12VDC Power Pin.

Swiftech is using their infamous Apongee XL Waterblock for each of their latest AIO Cooler. The pump fitted with standard G1/4 Fitting with clamp ring to secure the tube.

user posted image
The waterblock is pre-installed by default for socket Intel LGA 1150, 1155 and 1156. Optional backplate available for other Intel and AMD legacy socket.

user posted image
The waterblock base plate is made out of C110 Copper material. Once we removed the seal for the waterblock, we notice the shine from waterblock base can reflect and act as a mirror. What we really love this waterblock as it does not leave marks easily, even after touch with bare hands.

Test bench

This is the setup that we used for the whole testing and benchmarking process for the Swiftech AIO Cooler.
user posted image

Performance

For the stress test we compare between Intel stock cooler and Swiftech AIO Cooler. The processor is compared with stock clock of 3.7GHz @ 1.08 vCore and overclocked to 4.2GHz @ 1.16 vCore by using the ASUS OC Tuner that comes with the motherboard and tortured for 30 minutes with Prime95 v27.7 stressing application.

user posted image
There is a lot of improvement of cooling performance compared to the stock cooler. The load temperature obtained with Swiftech H240-X was 40°C lower than the stock cooler, which is a very good improvement. Besides that, this AIO cooler also reduced the idle temperature by 13 °C.

user posted image
When the processor overclocked to 4.2 Ghz, the temperature of both stock cooler and AIO cooler slightly increased. The Swiftech AIO Series easily handles the heat produced by the 3770k without reaching 70°C even with H140-X.

user posted image
We compared with all brands of AIO Cooler we ever played with before. The King of Cooler title has been grabbed by Swiftech by leading with the lowest temperature obtained during our test and even the Swiftech H140-X is slightly left behind just one degree of idle temperature compared with the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate.

Conclusion

Now it’s come to the end part of the review section. The new Swiftech AIO Cooler series is a must for someone that not only looking for supreme performance, but also able to fully customizable with the addition of extra Watercooling parts. With the starting pricetag of RM499, the H140-X is almost on par with our previous leading cooler of Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme. With the single 140mm of cooler can perform well during our benchmark test. The Swiftech even has the capability to beat every single AIO cooler we ever tested before. Swiftech has created a solid build quality and sleek design with the compact cooler. We believe Swiftech is using Swiftech MCP355 pump for this model which actually has been familiar with custom loops of Watercooling. The only cons we notice when playing around with their cooler is they don’t have special software to monitor or control the pump and fan of the cooler. The LED plate also must be changed manually, which makes it a lot easier if it can be controlled via a software. The unit does not support push and pull configuration as one side of the radiator is covered with the pump unit. Apart from that, we truly respect with the cooler itself on their outstanding performance and we hope Swiftech can maintain their lead their performance on manufacturing high end CPU Cooler.
Finally, I would like to say thank you to Cyntrix Technologies Sdn Bhd for the review units of Swiftech H140-X, H220-X and H240X AIO CPU Cooler.
