Just want to share my recent experience:
1. On 12 June 2019, I accidentally damaged the side of my car while parking at a client's premise;
2. Contacted my insurance provider & they advised me to lodged a police report & sent the car to an approved service center;
3. Contacted my car service center and was told to bring the original police report, a copy of the car registration card, insurance cover note, my Identification card & driving license;
4. The service center staff handle the processing and proceed to do the necessary;
5. On 17 June, I got a notification via SMS that my claim has been approved; and
6. Yesterday, 25 June, I got a call from the Service Centre Staff that my car is ready for collection.
All in all, I am quite happy with how my insurance provider & the service center handle the claim process. Hope this information will be useful for future incidents.
