Hi there .The std practice is to wait 2 weeks for police report results right?

The offender smsed me saying he already made report so should i call the sergeant to check on the status ?

I just made report on my side yesterday so should i call the sergeant in 3 days again or...wait 2weeks? 😅 Many Thanks.
