This is new car and 1st insurance policy. Policy amount 129k.. Once accident happen they said my policy not agreed value policy so need to follow market value and offer 82k..loan at bank 120k and full settlement would be 103k. Why brand new car they never offer agreed value policy. The agent useless. Any option

Guys,

My car got hit and run by a motorbike this morning, side mirror gone and car panel scratched?

The incident might have caught on car dashcam or might not ( I havent check yet)

Question, can I claim insurance for repair without afecting NCD? If the dashcam managed to capture the motorbike registration number?

Motorbike a bit hard to claim insurance but you can try.

Mine was with another car and manage to catch on dashcam. Need to go to the commissioner of oath to get the documents stamped. Some extra work but definitely better than burning NCB.

Like the next guy mention

Do able but a bit tricky

Easiest way to do is to lodge a police report now and stated you have dash cam record in car

Make sure you tell them the dash cam is install by you

Subsequently submit documents to your insurer

Tell them the whole story and ask them to guide you to claim under OF no fault liability claim

Different insurance has different way to deal with it
