I've got a question, this morning some f**ker knocked into my wife's car while I was driving. Police report from both parties all made. My question is,

Since I'm not listed as assigned driver in her motor vehicle insurance policy, will there be any penalty fee pertaining to claiming the f**kers insurance?

OD & OD-KFK = Yes
TPPD = No

How much is the penalty?

If I add my name to the policy tomorrow morning that probably doesn't work right?

the only legal way to do it is to claim via TPPD which will take more time

as for illegal way, get your wife to lodge on behalf and that claim she is the driver

Will official SC handle the TPPD claim on my behalf or I need to get it done myself? If it takes more time meaning the car will be stranded longer at the SC right? How's TPPD claim? Smooth sailing? Or probably unadvisable?

Can't do illegal way since report already lodged. Had to chase the f**ker down and drag him to police station this morning.

you need to do it yourself via TPPD

and yes, it takes more time to fix it

1. send to workshop
2. hire an adjuster to estimate the repair bill (you need to pay but can claim back later)
3. submit the repair estimation + all police documents to insurance company
4. insurance company will tekan you the bill and you need to nego with them
5. settlement agreed and get the money
6. then only pay workshop to start fixing your car
