If A parked illegally on the road and got scratch by B when B passing, assume B didn't make police report, will A able to claim B insurance?

B's insurance will still cover the cost even they know A parked the car illegally if B has car cam as evidence?

If A didn't make report in 24 hours then B is safe?
Previously few cases heard from diff Sarjan that they can't proceed if one side didn't make report, wonder if that's true

Btw recall that there's a case where the lorry rams through all the cars parked somewhere at putrajaya road side, wonder how's the case goes as officer said no compensation can be made since the car parked illegally first

What if you really pursue for damage claim through majistret? Wonder what's the procedure and the result

I see.. but you are not having any illegal action in your case right? Like you illegal park/stop/turn/etc and cause the accident? Else I believe insurance can reject the claim

I think you can do it but chance only 50/50, and need time as well.
