The investigation result I got says that the vehicle that rear ended me was at fault, in addition to citing the vehicle in front of me that drove off after my car was rammed into theirs for failing to file a report. However, I was not able to obtain the details of the driver that hit me other than their license plate number. I'm presuming that security camera footage was able to identify the car in front of me, since I wasn't able to get the details of it outside its make, model and color. The report does not say whether any compounds were issued, and according to the sergeant neither of the two other drivers ever filed a report.

The owner of the workshop my vehicle was sent to for the insurance repair says that without a summons being issued to the driver that hit me, I will not be able to retain my no claims discount. I'll likely be calling my insurance company (MPI Generali) tomorrow to see if they agree. Any recommendations?
