 sodium intake and fat loss relations, question

I wanted to know if higher than normal intake of sodium will actually hinder my fat loss or not.

I repeat, FAT LOSS

I am not asking about WEIGHT LOSS, yes I know high sodium intake retain water and makes us water-heavy, but thats not my concern.

I am not asking about health issues, yes I know high sodium intake cause high blood pressure, but thats not my concern.

If I eat clean food like chicken breast, fish and meat, veges etc, but I add lots of salts, will it actually make my FAT LOSS any slower than if I didnt add any salt at all? ( assuming I am on caloric deficit diet)

I see, so i will still loss fat like I normally do on saltless diet?

I really cant stomach down saltless food.. cry.gif

Think of it like this. The more salt you put in your food the more the sodium which it causes water retention on your body. Just keep it moderate and put a lil bit.

generally, sodium didnt hav any calories value therefore wont effects on ur fat loss.

Like what many have said, moderation. Not in excessive, only if you want kidney failure in the future , then yea. lol
