I have a question regarding games sharing:

I have 2 STEAM account. According to the FAQ, only one account can login to use the library even if they are playing different games. Ex: If one account is playing Sonic, the other account can't play Sleeping dogs.

However, i have tested yesterday and it seems to work. I have one account playing the shared library SONIC game and another running Valkria Chronicles.

So what gives? Is it suppose to be can or cannot??

Both account running from same location (from Home) via same Fibre internet.

I can't understand this....

Pls advice!

I don't think that is how it's suppose to work according to the FAQ i read in STEAM.

i think what happened was the last portion, i have already installed SONIC in that PC using Account A, then I use Account B, i can see that game, when i click PLAY, it pops up windows to send request to Account A. I approve the request on another PC from Account A.

What i have tested so far is i have started one game using Account A, then start another game (belonging to Account A and shared) using Account B. However, i haven't try it more than 5 minutes, the statement above seems to show there is a 5 minutes grace period, maybe that's why. Will do more testing tonight.

If cannot really jalat....

Nope, the difference is, I can continue to buy using credit card if i refund to credit card...later 3-4 days, money revert back to me, no extra charge. If revert to steam wallet, those money i have to pay and leave it there if nothing to buy or forced to look for something to buy after the Sales is over. Very big difference. Money in my pocket, better than money in STEAM's wallet.

Just sold my first item (some sort of card) in Steam for a glorious RM 0.18! Didn't know you can get money selling this! Should have set the price to RM 1.80...lol.

Tested and confirmed. Sharing is by library. If one account using, the other guy will be kicked out in 5 minutes. It's not by game, it's by LIBRARY. This "sharing" is senseless and not real sharing at all. I think many people complained previously and STEAM burn the thread in the forums.

Yes...crap games anyway. Won't touch it unless < RM10.

Today's sales all rubbish...cukur. Can save money...i think i spent maybe RM 100 already....didn't count.

My rule of thumb, if < RM10, and i like, buy. If <RM10, i don't like or know, KIV. Anything > RM10, dun buy (unless it's 4 player pack, per unit still < RM10)...haha.

Playing Last Remnant yesterday...i think it was over RM10 a bit, but ok lah, hardly any good JRPG on PC. This one not bad, seems to be better port than FF series. But it has horrible screen tearing issues and NO OPTION to set in the game...luckily can forced VSYNC via the NVIDIA control panel for this game. Problem fixed.
