I'm having the problem myself, 3ROD. Any advice?

It just died on me last night..mine is an unmodded japanese version. I haven't played anything yet last night. The screen was frozen for a while and then the damn light start appearing. I've tried everything, unplugged all the connection plus the harddrive and plugged them again but unsuccessful.
I'm gonna talk to my local retailer today to find out if they can repair it.
The worst thing is, I just received my GOW and COD3 today, damn I'm starting to cry already.

I've sent the my unit to my local retailer and according to him, he will sent it to his agent in KL and gonna let them have a look and he promise me to keep me updated on the progress.
If they are unable to fix it I might need bro Metalgrindsolid's help, maybe I can contact him personally to make an arrangement since I won't be coming down to K.L. anytime soon. If worst still, I might be buying a new one when I get my bonus next month (my wife surely gonna kill me).
