Agree, the lack of ports also add to the inconvenience.  laugh.gif

Obviously it's not designed for everyone. Like MacWorld said, "it's meant to fly solo" brows.gif .

So if you have an iPad Air or iPad Air 2 with a Bluetooth keyboard, would you still go for a 12" MacBook, or would you be better off with a 13" Air or Pro?

I prefer MBA. There are so many things that you can do with it.

I mostly use iPad for web browsing.

For me it's just work and web browsing, but I'd like to have dual boot option with Windows 8. Is 4GB RAM and 128GB sufficient?

Hmm, first of all you will need at least 50gb space to dual boots. 2nd, with 4gb ram it's quite okay, but if can upgrade the ram smile.gif

No idea about Windows 8, but for Windows 7, the minimum is 25GB (assuming you disable hibernation, you don't install too many programs and updates, and you set virtual memory to 0). But if you really need Windows on your Mac, 256GB is recommended.

As for the RAM, 4GB is OK based on your usage.

Looks weird. Might as well buy a MBP/MBA if you want extra ports.
