Hi..I really need help from you guys

I bought my macbook from Switch last July..unfortunately after using it for a month..I detected some dead pixels on the retina screen. So, I brought it to the Switch Service Centre in Penang the next day. After one month, I called them to ask about the progress. To my surprise, they already replaced the entire screen because obviously it is still under warranty.(They never call me when it is fixed on the 10th day)

Then, I checked the new screen..no flaws detected. Happily using it for one more month (October) and again I detected some dead pixels as shown in the attachment below. I took the picture because I have a doubt that they will replace it again. Next day, I send it again and told them about the problem. After 7 days (today), they call me to tell that Apple had reject the application for replacing my screen.

The reason for that is because it is not dead pixels at fault..it is the SCREEN GLASS somehow got damage which for me is unacceptable. Screen glass is not covered under warranty and if I want to replace it..the set will cost me RM1.8k rclxub.gif

I take good care for my macbook the whole time..never drop it..and I can't explain how this could happen. Hope to get some suggestions from you guys what I should prepare or ask when I meet them in 3 days time.

Cheers whistling.gif pardon my English, tried my best sweat.gif

I think like you too..but switch service told me that it isn't..(on phone) something like you can feel it with your finger..so screen glass got something wrong..send picture to Apple and they said the same (lie or not dunno) but I ask more..answer with er..er..er then repeat glass problem..suspicious icon_question.gif

Is it glass chip inside the screen? Actually I suggest u to log a complaint to apple online directly. Apple customer service is good they always side customer and they follow up promptly too.
