Claim Warranty without receipt?

i just want to know anyone have experience in claim warranty from apple store without showing the purchase receipt?
i dont have the receipt because i bought the iphone 6 from my friend..and my friend bought from others.
the iphone is original, still under warranty. (checked online)
hope someone can help me.

u may ask your friend where the iPhone bought from ? Apple online store ? Telco set ? or even kedai biasa... Just bring it back the place u bought it.... If curi one, better return to the owner

I've claimed warranty a couple of times from Machines Northpoint and each time did not produce the receipt. They will just verify it online.

Yes as long as you have an active valid warranty, you can go to any Apple Authorised service center to check and diagnose your device, and if it has any manufacturer defect then you can claim it.. You can check your warranty here
