On M2U Statement balance is only updated once a month (when the statement is generated). M2U only updates outstanding balance (being statement balance + any new transactions - any payment).

Reminder: pay the Statement Balance in full before the due date and you will have interest--free until the next statement. Miss 1 month (i.e. did not pay statement balance in full) and ALL transactions of the last month and ALL NEW transactions are subjected to interested starting from the very day of the transaction. If this happens - pay off Outstanding Balance and do not use the card until after the next statement date.
