Anyone have any experience using the MBB2Cards in a country that uses PIN instead of Signature? MBB CS told me I have to settle it in a MBB branch, but when I Googled around a bit others said they simply won't ask for your PIN and will proceed with signature instead.

Applied in January at 1 Utama, took 3 hours to get the card.

I realised when I applied that the 60 minutes was not advertised anywhere inside the centre, nor did the staff promise anything like that. The only place it was advertised was on the big screen outside, which was still showing the old advertisements. So if you ask me, I don't think Maybank is promoting the 60 minutes thing anymore

Did anyone else get a second round of RM100 cashback from the I Love M2C campaign? Called CS and they verified that it's a mistake. Was surprised to see my Visa balance go down to -RM50

It's stated very clearly in the TnC that the max cashback you can get from the campaign is RM100. They will take it back no matter if you report or not

This refers to the I love M2C campaign and not your usual monthly cashback. You are only supposed to receive RM100 cash back from the campaign, but MBB made a mistake and some of us received RM200 instead. They are just taking back the extra amount they credited into your cards. Does not affect your monthly cashback.

BTW guys, haven't been keeping up to date with the thread. Any news on the RM300 cashback campaign? Perhaps the first post should be kept up to date with current promotions and their results

I agree with Ree73. Doing online foreign transactions with this card is such a hassle.

1. You cannot call ahead and say "I will make an online transaction, please unblock my card".
2. If you do payments with PayPal, once the card is rejected PayPal will "hide" the card. So after calling Maybank you will have to login again into PayPal to see the card again.
3. They might unblock the wrong merchant. Happened to me once. Payment blocked -> call Maybank, unblocked -> payment blocked again -> call again, asked why it failed again and they said "sorry, there is another layer that we have to unblock".

I understand that it is for security reasons. But this "solution" comes at a severe cost.

Can confirm. Used it in UK and it followed the merchant's local time. Missed out on rebate as well due to this.

Call Maybank to unblock your online transactions. And no, for future transactions you cannot call ahead and unblock. The payment has to fail first before you can call and unblock it :/

On the other hand though, it does show how bad the system is. A first timer mistook it for being a troll answer, because it seems so illogical. I envy you guys with the older system where you can just do it once and it's forever allowed.
