Did they give you the bonus? When was your card approved and activated?

If use Amex overseas, what is the 2.5 conversion rate?
Mean if say good is $100, then the 2.5 is charged on top of purchase as 'service charge' or what?

But I thought they say they charged only once for both card?
Mean the RM 50 st is charged on both card.
Btw isn't it starting 1 April all the service tax is abolished after gst? Why still charged?

as long as approval before 1 Apr, banks are obligated to charge RM50 service tax.

approval from 1 Apr and onwards, no service tax.

clean cut, nothing to argue.

Anyone knows about Maybankard 2 supplementary card's benefit? I know there's a lifetime annual fee waiver. The cash back entitlement is capped at Principal card's maximum RM50? Plan to apply for my parents. Thanks

Not much benefit. RM50 cashback will be share with principal. Not worth it

Thanks. I don't maximise my cashback so it's still ok. Hard to find a supplementary card with decent benefits.

Did anyone else get a second round of RM100 cashback from the I Love M2C campaign? Called CS and they verified that it's a mistake. Was surprised to see my Visa balance go down to -RM50 sweat.gif

It's stated very clearly in the TnC that the max cashback you can get from the campaign is RM100. They will take it back no matter if you report or not tongue.gif

Yesterday I booked two hotel accommodations via Agoda, one in JB and another one in SG. Both of them are not entitled for 12% because not in the eligible countries. Anyway, I got 10% which is still a good deal.

Honestly speaking I logged into two pages, one is the Visa Wednesday promo page and and another one is the normal Agoda page.

However, the normal Agoda page has lower prices compared to Visa Wed page but of course after the promo discount, Visa Wednesday has slightly cheaper price than normal Agoda page.

My point is though it gives promotion price but it doesn't look sincere to me. laugh.gif

p/s: Before somebody asks me why didn't I book using my AmEx on weekend is because I'm staying in the hotels tomorrow and this weekend. laugh.gif

Could have check the page for agoda.com/maybank to check the rate just in case after 7% might be cheaper than the 10% visa wed promo.

From the treatspoint catalogue that was attached in one of the earlier posts, it is about 14k++ for RM50 voucher for AEON Big, Tesco, etc.

Is this the same if I were to go to the Maybank HQ in Pudu and redeem or is less? I recall reading it is 12,500 or so.

Anyone still having issues with unavailability of vouchers? I am not going Maybank Card Centre,, should have higher chance of being available?

No. It is not the same. If you redeem the AEON vouchers at Maybankardd Centre, the rate is only 12,500TP for RM50 Aeon vouchers.

And I was at Maybankard Centre The Gardens just last Saturday. Plenty of Aeon vouchers still available.

You are correct. I have been noticing this for long time. If you are a member of agoda, then you compare between visa wed or maybank agoda, they are all different pricing. what's important is to check what the final price is. and honestly, the cheaper final price for me is always for the direct agoda members. but of course as a wise user, always compare all before decide smile.gif

I'm an Agoda member too and lucky for me, the Visa Wednesday deal is still slightly cheaper after the 10% discount. sweat.gif
