Even Korean or Japanese wont last for a lifetime. HID has its lifespan. But the price of Korean or Japanese can buy 2 or 3 sets of China made. Well, if GT cost 500 per set with 1 year warranty. Even every year i change 1 set is only equal to a set of expensive Korean/Japanese brand which will still have faulty/failure cases. The cheapest genuine Japanese HID like PIAA cost about RM2k for the cheapest model. The best genuine Korean brand is Xelux which easily cost more than RM1k depends on bulb type. GT aint that bad lar. I have seen quite a few car with GT. Looks good with the return rate mention by the seller if true.

Even refurbished OEM HID aint cheap and its used, again lifespan shorten. HID seldom spoilt if you dont touch it after install, most problems are on the ballast. Even Aura has high return rate on their ballast faulty problem.

I mean of coz the failing rate of japanese HID is much minimal especially on their ballast but the lifespan of the bulb is still there. Of coz if i got the money and can afford it then its not a big fuss. But i cant afford the expensive one so i try to source for cheap and yet not too bad brand lar. Normally, if the HID got problem, its symptoms already showed for the 1st month or 2.

EPS is a taiwan brand which is manufacture in taiwan or locally coz i also not sure. Their earlier ballast which is made in taiwan is better. Based on Bosch's ballast and better quality. Now the newer generation is no more based on Bosch to reduce cost.

Whats your bulb size?
