ur prepaid will just be active for 10 days only, soon you gonna topup again. there wont be any free 1gb until the previous 1gb expire.

best is topup rm30, get 30 days validity, 1gb usable in 30 days.

All telco got coverage good and bad in different areas, hence why everyone should spend RM8/RM10 to get a prepaid to test their commonly used areas.

On average Maxis and Celcom got better coverage nationwide. U mobile a few good areas (Subang Jaya, not USJ, is one, another is around their HQ in KL). Digi also got up and down depending area.

I found out reasons why ktm area no good. the reason is some station have stesen elektrifikasi(salak selatan has one), and the data will be affected by that.

so the ktm officer explained that to me.

only along ktm line inside the train.

so those who take KTM ( I take ktm to uni also)

if u see the  station has more than 3 lines, and u can see a stesen elektrifikasi, then yes the data will be affected, calls and sms so far not affected

if only two ltracks (Mid valley), then should be ok

u take ktm, u look up.. every track has their own electric line. for salak selatan, they have their own electrified station, so thats why yr data surfing affected.

I personally requested the abang ktm officer to do a test, all telco the same, especially if u see a station have 2-4 track.

U mobile gets more benefits compared to other MCD:

1) cover more population coverage as long as users get wifi connected.
2) less international roaming partner, hence with vowifi, umobile can charge happily when umobile users roaming oversea
3) with domestic roaming (2G) with maxis, lesser users will use 2G and go for vowifi, hence save their roaming agreement charges with maxis

Digi might get this as well as MC coverage is wider
4) users without coverage can get connected with vowifi.

for surf website only, not watch youtube..

So far so good la in Melaka. Not 4G of cos. Can still surf with decent speed.

To me, speed is secondary if compare with our pocket......
$$ > speed.. As long decent speed is good enough.
