I got a question here (try not to open another thread)

I am on U-mobile cheapest plan, U28 (RM 28 per month) and it is stated there are 50MB daily roaming.

Anyone tried that out? Is it as true as it is stated? LOL. Cant really find any additional info.

Thanks.

Yes but it is only limited to certain telco in different countries. Exceed that you will be charged RM30 per day for unlimited internet

don't really get that 15gb thingy
tomorrow onward, until 30th June this 3 month got 15gb quota eh ?
or that extra 8gb once finished use it then no more rclxub.gif

You will get extra 8GB each month for the next few months until end of June. By then they will release new packages, hopefully cheaper one. And the extra 8GB can be used all day long 7 days a week.

U Mobile is always slow in MNP. It will take up to 2 days to receive the message
*
The message delay is not umobile fault. Its the respective telco's delaying trying to provide porting out customer with counter offer.

Btw, there is a workaround for maxis to immediately receive the YES message.

Maxis delayed me for a week for my own number to port out to umobile even though mine is only maxis prepaid.

They claimed i have not replied to sms validation in which i have replied a day ago. On second attempt, they send me the validation msg two days after my application.

And then they tell you system down when in fact they can still sempat call and give counter offer to port out customers.

Anyone know if i can switch to umobile P70 plan using my broadband number???
Thanks in advance.. confused.gif  confused.gif

No you can't. Broadband number can't do mnp and can't convert to postpaid plan.

So, another solution is I terminate my broadband then purchase the P70 plan...
*
Yes correct. But better to terminate at the end of the month since broadband charges is not based on pro rate. That means if you terminate today also they will charge you bill for the whole of March.
