Guys, need some suggestions here.

I'll be leaving the country for half a year and I'm currently on U28, thinking whether I can terminate the postpaid plan as I won't be using it for 6 months then sign up again when I'm back, is this a plausible plan?

I know that U28 extra 2GB (1+2) data promotion was previously a limited promotion that lasts until a certain period only but I thought the promotion should be long over by now. I tried to find out on the UMobile website but can't find any info, has the extra 2GB data promotion been changed to permanent?

Any other suggestions that can help me save some money without risking not being able to sign up again later?

Is your phone number registered to any internet banking and credit card ?
you don't plan to make any online banking or credit card transactions which requires TAC while abroad ?

The number will remain the same, I'm only looking to port out to any prepaid plans available really, but of course I would be keeping the number.

Hey guys, got a question here about roaming. I am currently in the UK and I'm on U28 postpaid plan, would I be charged any roaming fees when I receive SMS?
