How I do it is go to shopback - https://www.shopback.my/?raf=dgOcBr (this is my personal referral link, you'll get RM5 and give me RM5 if you sign up from here)

From there click to qoo10 (new browser window/tab will open, MUST buy in that browser/tab. Will have instructions for you).

From qoo10 you can buy reload at face value using credit card. I use CIMB Cash Rebate (5% rebate).

Then because buying through shopback, I get another 10% rebate to shopback, which can (once reach RM10 total) be withdrawn to my bank account.

Also qoo10 got their own points system but I don't have enough to use that for anything yet.

For less hassle, look for CnY Garage for example, but that one is by bank transfer not CC. He'll give discount for reloads.

hehe thanks for supporting
currently back to 5% discount for any prepaid top up / postpaid bill payment like before gst for umobile cool2.gif

back then when i use umobile 28 umi (3 years) i always reload 100 with him~! the best ever.
But due to the coverage in the area i go thats why i didnt continue.

In the future if i want to continue will ask him to reload.

He sometimes is ultra super slow was due to his personal problem( hospital etc ) but then for a while only. And once was his new staff but then he took over.

most of the time he is responsive and very reliable seller smile.gif
*
haha sometimes i really do super slow response tongue.gif
normally during working hour then should be ok, for bill payment customers sometime delay half to 1 day sweat.gif
hope i can improve on this

I thought the "R" is for international roaming?
How about the network name? will it change to Maxis when  "R"?
*
yup R does mean for internation roaming, but in this case, data roaming R showing umobile ROAMING ON maxis 2g network while u can't get any 3g / 4g of umobile, so just put the DATA ROAMING ON for ur phone to get this EDGE/G working tongue.gif

My office (FIZ) here got Umobile coverage and showing H+, but internet totally not working and go out from the FIZ only can use internet. My setting data roaming already ON, in this case how to switch to Maxis network?
*
in this special case
u might need to off 3g and using 2g only in ur building for roaming to Maxis 2g Edge
probably they are upgrading 4g Lte around ur area and hardly use 3g inside building

QUOTE(zher4883 @ Jan 21 2016, 03:24 PM)

The CS told me the GST rebate won't display in the actual balance. In umobile database will capture the GST rebate and will utilise 1st when you making call. I had tested and it works but no idea why they don't show in the balance.
*
QUOTE(idoblu @ Jan 22 2016, 11:44 AM)
so in another words, i am getting back a refund but i just cant see it?
ok thanks nod.gif
*
but in fact they do reflect the GST refund instantly, top up 10 = RM 9.43 immediately and 0.57 1 min later, so you still get the RM 10

rm56 only? when i signed up mine, it's rm28+rm28+rm10+rm3+gst = rm70++

if you terminate your line, they will refund you the rm28 by payment to you.
*
QUOTE(victorywp @ Jan 26 2016, 11:20 AM)
yes, last time i asked before, the cs said will refund by cheque. not sure whether they are able to do online transfer now or not lol.
*
he means he PAID RM56 during sign up, ur calculation for first bill is correct
normal procedure is RM 0 payable @ center, 1 month advance payment @ any dealer which u28 only collect RM 28
thats why I am curious about how the dealer charge on the MNP shakehead.gif

im sure this question pop a lot

i just MNP from maxshit
noted that at my working place
there is no umobile coverage (although website says otherwise)
hence the is big G adjacent to the signal line and small R on top of it
i assume it mean roaming

is this roaming on maxshit?
if i try to call it give me roaming warning

i scared shocking bill will follow

kindly advice sifus

QUOTE(saitong09 @ Jan 26 2016, 09:49 PM)
Yes, roaming on Maxis. Are you using post paid? Better call CS to confirm whether got charge. Prepaid sometimes I saw the R as well but no charge so far
*
don worry, you won't be charged on ROAMING in Malaysia, somore you need to pay RM 200 deposit to active the ROaming oversea for POSTPAID

and for your all information, tomorrow will Launch a new plan

*
for activation without having system problem is 5mins for Broadband / new number registration, so this should be the dealer issue, might need to ring a call to them and see if they are having any problem on the registration

Been using Umobile about 2 months and found out that their 3G data network not so good even in Klang Valley. There is no issue on my friends LTE and also 2G network (edge) on my phone. Unfortunately my phone don't support LTE, so I have to always disable 3G in order to use internet in 2G mode.Thinking of switch to others network.
*
QUOTE(kenlui @ Jan 29 2016, 09:44 AM)
RM70+RM50 for 2 lines, sharing 10GB in between for the new hero plus plan. Looks good for me but concerned about the coverage. Currently using a umobile prepaid as a 2nd line, experience frequent call drops, not sure it's my hospital line problem or umobile issue.
*
ya currently umobile upgrading its 4g network, the 3g network is terrible at some area, but u get steady 4g network if u able to connect cry.gif
hope they settle asap otherwise all my customers ciao already

i just used umobile for less than a month from digi, indeed i found theirs internet service is atrocious. even damansara area is very weak can't imagine more 'ulu' area.
thinking of porting back to digi 75, limited offer now.
i'm considering the penalty that i'll need to pay cause i took up the iphone package from last year but only recently start using it.
*
umobile got no contract on iphone package unless u sign up the 0 upfront payment with 2 years contract smile.gif

Depending on your location. I have been on U Mobile since July 2015, MNP from Maxis.
I am not really missing anything except poorer data indoor coverage (which I can live with it). Otherwise, I am saving a lot of $$$$!

Does U Mobile have any long validity prepaid plan? There's a number I would like to keep but if there are no suitable plans then I'll have to port out to another telco that has a long validity plan. hmm.gif

QUOTE(zher4883 @ Feb 1 2016, 08:53 PM)
As far as what they had offered until now, there's no extra long validity or whatsoever

superb long validity is XOX
best plan to keep for VALIDITY only

i am currently using power prepaid , i am receiving free 1GB internet every month , i am wondering is the free 3gb applicable for the old user (like me) ?

is the 2x validity plan still available now ? is it possible to switch to this plan ?
*
u may convert back to the old plan but not receiving the 1gb free internet

QUOTE(UntilUComeBack @ Feb 2 2016, 08:55 AM)
last time from umobile > celcom jus need 3 hours something.
hopefully can be done asap. my billing date 8 feb.
so...any seller from here?  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
or maybe this lunch go Nu Sentral see umobile shop.
*
ya before this very fast, now they all wanted to keep their customers jumping ship out, so slow processing, lots excuses and tricks too to make u suffering from porting out. but celcom still the easiest 1 among 3 (because digi and maxis request customer to reply Y or YES and also calling for counter offer, that delay at least half day of the process, while celcom very please to send you to umobile without doing anything tongue.gif

if you look for me and order today , send out poslaju today, hopefully can be done by friday. (with discount oh ) brows.gif
