QUOTE(stickmanchong17 @ Aug 1 2015, 11:04 PM) I was attracted by d advert by U mobile dat if u buy a new prepaid pack, u will be entitled to free 1GB internet. However, further reading into d FAQs made me realise it is just a marketing strategy by U Mobile. Every 2 months RM180? How you count?Correct me if I'm wrong: If RM1= 1 validity day. RM30 = 1 month. 60 days = passive period, so top-up every 2 months = RM 180 to use this UMobile Power Plan. How is it better than other packages?? P.S.- Here is d link to d UMobile FAQs: http://www.u.com.my/faqs/52/261 You reload RM30 you get 30 days validity. After that you just reload RM30 again. 2 months you've reloaded RM60 (give or take RM1 depending which month got 31 days). Unless you're talking about per year. In that case its basically RM365 a year. No extended validity. If you want extended validity use something else. Otherwise your free 1GB only valid during the X days after each X topup, otherwise cannot be used. |

I want to port from maxis to umobile, will get it done at umobile times square. A few questions to ask,
1. for nano sim, umobile charge for it ? 2. opt for e-billing, umobile charge for itemized billing ? (maxis waived if opt for e-billing) 3. P50 or P70 more worth? 4. can disable voice mailbox during registration ? This post has been edited by mjchua: Aug 2 2015, 02:03 AM |

(I'm using micro sim, it's free 1. for nano sim, umobile charge for it ? 2. opt for e-billing, umobile charge for itemized billing ? (maxis waived if opt for e-billing) 3. P50 or P70 more worth? 4. can disable voice mailbox during registration ? 2. Whatever kind of billing also nothing will be waived (I asked Customer Service about this) 3. Depends on how you use, if you use less than 5GB/month, why need to pay another RM20 for P70? 4. Cannot, need to call C.Service to deactivate voice mail. QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Aug 2 2015, 12:16 AM) Every 2 months RM180? How you count? I was thinking about reloading once every 2 months to keep d line active. But it was not d case, as u had pointed out. I'm currently using Maxis, but thought dat UMobile might be used as my alternative phone line, once I'd bought d package. Thx 4 enlightening me~ You reload RM30 you get 30 days validity. ZZZZ.. then i sent an email to the customer service that i want to register e- billing on July mid last month and their CS replied me my e- billing will started on 01 September 2015. Ytd my bill came and yes RM3 again=.="""""" #$%$&*^^%$#%^&*%$#$ 3. P50 is enough for me. depends lor but i suggest, no need to pay extra RM20 for extra 2 gb unless u always outside and need to surf everytime then take P70 lor.... myself, Office Unifi, Home Unifi... 4. email customer service they will assist you. I had used DIGI, Celcom, Maxis and now i all ported to U mobile. What can i say? i love it compared to the 3 telco i used last time. I based KL/Selangor so the line i'm satisfied!!
