Yeah, will do it on 31st of March.  icon_rolleyes.gif
Need to REPLY confirmation SMS?  shocking.gif  I thought no need to reply one.
Last time my friend also doing mnp from hotlink to redone. they sent sms to him but can't reply the message due to no number, only show the sender as HOTLINK.
I notice that way too, planning to do it on 31st of March. but my only concern is that my hotlink prepaid going to be inactive period on 2nd of April. Afraid unable to complete the mnp process before my hotlink due date.
*
expect for 2 days time
normally 1st day when u submit, Maxis "may" sms u the confirmation sms, so u could reply and start process for 1 day, if u didn't receive the confirmation sms, then u have to resubmit after 1 day (when u receive sms from umobile saying process denied).

Applied Umobile MIFI last week, the device they gave me was ZTE MF90, fed up with intermittent disconnection every 5 mins. Called customer service and all they can do is to lodge a complaint, technical side advice me to reset but it's not doing any good.

Last resort I went to Ten Ten communication at Shah Alam, the girl over the counter told me this ZTE MF90 is locked under TM and not compatible to Umobile therefore I'm facing this issue, she added the box also had a sticker stated (Compatible to TMnet). She said these were meant for TM but their excess stock sold to Umobile without upgrading the bios therefore it's locked. From there I was directed to Highpoint at Glenmarie for upgrade of bios, it only worked for awhile in the day then problem persisted through the night.

When I hook up through friend's Huawei device, I don't have this problem at all. This is really annoying and a waste of money. I'm looking for firmware so that I can try unlock it but can't find any.
*
Is that mifi with umobile logo? Mf90 is that 4g Lte 1 or 3g 1?just to get bit more information

*
U mobile store like us able to replace sim card, but we only provide WALK IN with original IC only, so not applicable for online transaction, a small limitation.

Hey guys,

I have some questions here:
1) can I upgrade to U Mobile P70 15 GB on the day of my billing date?
2) Since I have to pay RM 200 for international roaming, can I get a prepaid card form U Mobile? are they pre-activated for int'l roaming?
*
1. u may change anytime u like, it is prorated.
2. prepaid is pre-activated for international roaming Yup, u are correct.

I just bought a new Power prepaid plan. If I were to subscribe to UMI 20, can i still surf using my UMI 20 if my line is suspended (not topping up my reload) ?
*
UMI 20 is for 30 days use
so even u are barred ( after activity date ) , still able to surf the net till the package end.

HELP. so i went to umobile centre today to switch from celcom to umobile and the person asked me to wait for an SMS. when the SMS finally arrived, it says my porting request is denied. according to umobile website, there are 4 reasons why this happened but how do i know which one is it?

for overdue payments, does it mean i have to finish all my remaining celcom credit? i'm using prepaid and i still have 10 ringgit left.

i'm so confused and umobile call centre is asking me to press so many buttons.  cry.gif kindly advice.
*
first u celcom prepaid to umobile prepaid/ postpaid?
u might need to call the person u were doing mnp to check which reason or calling 0183881318 normally u press 1 or 2 for language, when it ask got 6 options , u simply press 6
if got 8 options simply press 8

according to my experience,

celcom prepaid to umobile and being denied only got 1 reason which is IC incorrect, meaning the number is not registered under ur name
since OVERDUE payment, SUPP line, didn't reply to sms(only apply to DiGi and Maxis) all these 3 reasons are for Postpaid users.

hehe or u may look for me to MNp and enjoy the discount if u are MNP to umobile postpaid brows.gif

ok im changing to this soon, like wth rm28. im paying 60+ for DIGI with 2gb quota and rarely use phone calls. is there anything else not showing in the picture which i should take note of ?
*
only take note that first bill comes together with 1 month deposit like Unifi.

QUOTE(^Ware^wolf @ Apr 4 2016, 09:24 AM)
i was charged for 2x for the 1st month

SR Access Fee (P50) (01/03/2016 - 31/03/2016) 50.000
SR Access Fee (P50) (05/02/2016 - 29/02/2016) 43.103

and again for the subsequent month'

SR Access Fee (P50) (01/03/2016 - 31/03/2016) 50.000

is it deposit or advanced payment ?
*
IT IS DEPOSIT, i have no idea why the Term is Advance payment, as the advance payment is shown no where but store inside ur account as a deposit, i always explain it as a deposit to make it clear.

QUOTE(hitch80 @ Apr 4 2016, 10:49 AM)
What is SR?? How many months deposit is required? If deposit or advance payment it will be the same as your monthly subscription right?  If you subscribed U28, then the deposit / advance payment should be RM28+GST

So first month should include
Advance - RM28+GST
Prorate -number of days - let say sample RM14+GST
Full month - RM28+GST

Total should be estimate - RM70+GST
*
SR is standard rate of GST
means Chargeable, the RM 10 stamp duty is not charged 6% of gst

yup
full month = 28 + 1 month deposit 28 + RM 3 bill + gst + 10

<> 70 you are right

normally this happen for MNP / convert prepaid to postpaid customer
since NEW number subscribers MUST pay the advance during registration
and convert u28 to higher plan customer slightly more complicated
they would return ur deposit of RM 28 and charge another new full month deposit of new plan, of course both old plan / new plan are charged Pro rated.

i got this message from celcom hours ago saying the following:

"RM0 We hv received your request to switch to another network for this mobile number. Pls call our customer service immediately if u do not wish to proceed at 1111"

i didn't call the customer service. so the switch has happened or not?  hmm.gif

i'm supposed to insert my umobile sim card when the confirmation happens but i just realised that i've lost my darn simcard!! i cleaned my house the other day and must've thrown it away? idk.  bye.gif could i just waltz into the umobile centre and ask for a replacement simcard or do i have to go through the whole process of registering again?  rclxub.gif
*
normally whole process taking 1 day , so if successfully change into umobile then ur celcom would be dead, then u MUST proceed for a sim replacement d, premier dealer normally would charge and Center is free. if process more than 1 day and celcom still active, meaning it is rejected and u might check out the reason, celcom very very easy to check, easiest telco to port out among all.

yup can, just better use direct top up rather than buying coupon since got few cases that the coupon code is invalid so u have to proceed to center to replace 1, not that high chance.

Hello guys ,I might port from D to U ... and need some thoughtsss

However, i'm not sure whether the LTE speed OK or not at KEPONG and Cheras area ? How's the speed in Tanjung Malim ?
*
the LTE is strong when u able to connect it, but some area 4g is not so wide coverage

kepong and cheras is ok, better than setapak, out of town like Tanjung Malim sometimes the speed is better than in Klang Valley due to low traffic

but check it out here http://www.u.com.my/coverage
coz sometimes the map is not so updated , u need to get a Prepaid starter pack to test it well.

those are just exclusions, this is more relevant:

All voice minutes bundled shall be used strictly as part of normal everyday mobile voice usage for individual customers. In amplification of the Fair Usage Policy, the Service shall not be:
re-sold, rented or utilised in any other way;
used for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, application-to-person communication, continuously call forwarding, auto-dialing, machine-to-machine communication;
Used for wholesale or  for SIM boxing or aggregate minutes on our network;
used in connection with a device, software or application which re-routes calls;
used to set up switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours and limiting the ability for other customers to access our network; or
used for any other activity that U Mobile considers to be non-standard usage.

this means a normal consumer can't breach the FAIR USAGE POLICY no matter how hard he/she try with A single phone to call

Hi, I'm thinking of porting my maxis line to umobile.

Currently I'm on maxis for RM50 package+5 supplementary line at RM30.

I'm checking on the Umobile package for U28 and P50. I'm planning to split my line into 2 main line whereby one U28+RM10 supp and P50+3xRM10 supp line.

Do I have to talk to maxis about my transfer or can I just move over to umobile and port all my current numbers to umobile while cancelling maxis right away?

Besides, is there any contract binding for this 2 plan? If the line is bad in my area then I might change to another telco again.
*
just CLEAR your maxis Bill if the bill is ready, if there is no outstanding u may proceed to change to U Mobile already with center or pm to me to do it online or walk in my branch biggrin.gif (got discount oh)
ur U28 + U10

P50 + 3 Share Line 10 is possible,

QUOTE(internaldisputes @ Apr 7 2016, 09:24 PM)
ok i'm now officially a umobile user. biggrin.gif thanks a lot guys.

one more question- how do i let umobile send me my bills to my email instead to my home address?
*
call 1318 or email to customer.service@u.com.my, but this slow action takes them to charge another month of itemized bill too
