Hi, need some advice - my Mazda 2 (2016) fog lamp just got stolen. And I am not sure what that extra hole near the fog lamp that is also stolen. Can someone identify it? If I just buy a replacement fog lamp set, does it come with whatever it was that was stolen? Or must I go back to Mazda service center? And do anyone know what is the probable cost of replacement (original) vs (OEM)?

I believe the hole near fog lamp is the sensor. I think you can try to look for a replacement online, be it original or oem. Just depends on your cost. Then give it to a car repair shop to install for you. The main issue for me is the sensor part, whether they stole only the cover or including the wiring inside. That you need to check.

Currently pending repairs (purely cosmetic - the car drives absolutely fine) and the workshop that is doing the repairs offer to makan(take-up) the car for a certain amount as spare parts are too far and few (due to the pandemic, parts shortage).

The amount they are offering is BELOW the market value, as they account for the Replacement Parts which are currently unavailable.

Should I hold it out for the spare parts to sell at better second-hand rate later(when all the repairs are done, in what they estimate, 1 year from now?), or accept their current offer?

The variance of their offer and that of the current market is give or take, roughly 10K.

Hi, my Mazda 2 free service expire soon. I was offered extended service for 2 year for RM 2700. Is it worth it assuming I will still service at Mazda centre for next 2 years. What is the service cost for each service after 5th year?
